She holds a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering and a Master's degree in Sustainable Building Technology from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to combine practical engineering principles with sustainability, energy efficiency and modern building-performance strategies.
In her professional role at Vivek Bhole Architects Pvt. Ltd., Chaitrali works on the coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and ELV systems. Her experience includes major projects undertaken for organisations such as MHADA, CPWD, MSRTC and HPCL. Her responsibilities span design review, preparation of technical reports and tender documents, coordination with consultants and contractors, evaluation of engineering proposals, statutory compliance and project implementation support.
Chaitrali is actively involved in the engineering community. She serves as the Women Engagement Chair of the ISHRAE Mumbai Chapter and is associated with the Indian Plumbing Association, Mumbai Chapter, as Joint Secretary. Through these roles, she contributes to technical knowledge-sharing, professional development, sustainability awareness and increased participation of women in the building-services industry.
Through Connect MEP, Chaitrali aims to make building-services engineering more structured, accessible and dependable. The platform is being developed as a practical knowledge and calculation resource that brings together engineering fundamentals, design standards and digital tools for MEP professionals, architects, students, contractors and project stakeholders.
Her areas of interest include sustainable building systems, HVAC design, water and wastewater management, electrical infrastructure, fire and life-safety systems, building automation, energy-efficient design and the application of digital technology in the built environment.
Chaitrali believes that effective MEP engineering is not limited to installing services. It is about creating buildings that are safe, comfortable, efficient, maintainable and capable of supporting the people who use them.
